Basically everything revolves around 'The Hub', this is in the middle of campus and is where the food court, Ubar, the courtyard and Co-op is situated. This is the best place to grab something to eat as there is heaps of variety, you can get yourself a burger and chips from The Grill, a kebab from Doner Kebab, some nachos from Wicked Mexican, sushi from Sushi World or even a Boost Juice! The variety and price range varies here, however you are guaranteed to find something delicious and there is heaps of seating and tables! However, this is the busiest place to go, so if you have a break between 11:30-1:30 then expect waiting in line and finding it difficult to find a table.
If you find yourself in a bit of a rush or just making a coffee stop then you can stop at Wally's Coffee Cart which is located opposite Macquarie Theatre on Wally's Walk. Or perhaps if you are East of campus then Piccolo Lane can satisfy your coffee craving, this is located at E4A. Various other cafes such as Globe Cafe (E3A), the Library Cafe (Library) or Crunch Cafe (Sports and Aquatic Centre) are located around campus so there is always something near by!
These are the most popular and the cafes/lunch or spots you are most likely to walk past and stop into. However, there are still more cafes at Macquarie so make sure you check out this website to have a look at what Macquarie has to offer your taste buds! https://www.mq.edu.au/on_campus/food_and_shopping/food_drink/
